Founded in 2019 in Columbia Missouri by our Athletic Director Dejuan Curtis, our organization was built on a passion for youth development and a vision for creating the right environment for young athletes to thrive. While searching for a basketball program that aligned with the goals and values he wanted for his youngest son, Mr. Curtis recognized the need for an organization focused on skill development, discipline, teamwork, and mentorship. Coming from a strong basketball background and having played competitively from adolescence through college, he used his experience and love for the game to establish what would become the 573 Mamba Academy Inc non profit organization. What began as one team has now grown into a thriving program serving four competitive teams, providing young athletes with opportunities to develop both on and off the court.
